Trailer Rental Terms of Service

By renting a trailer from JJ BLACKLINE RENTALS LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

Renter must be at least 18 (or 21) years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Proof of identification may be required at pick-up.

2. Payment & Booking

All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. By completing your reservation, you agree to our No Refund Policy.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required prior to pickup. The deposit will be returned after the trailer is inspected and confirmed to be in the same condition as rented.

4. Pick-Up & Return

  • Renter is responsible for inspecting the trailer at pickup.
  • Any defects must be reported before leaving the premises.
  • Trailer must be returned on time and in the same condition.
  • Late returns may result in additional charges.

5. Use of Trailer

Renter agrees to:

  • Use the trailer safely and only for its intended purpose
  • Not overload the trailer beyond its rated capacity
  • Properly secure all cargo
  • Not use the trailer for illegal activities
  • Not sub-rent or allow unauthorized drivers to use the trailer

6. Towing Requirements

Renter is responsible for ensuring their vehicle is properly equipped to tow the trailer, including:

  • Correct hitch size
  • Functional lights and wiring
  • Adequate towing capacity

We are not responsible for towing incompatibility issues.

7. Damage & Liability

Renter assumes full responsibility for any loss, damage, or theft of the trailer during the rental period. This includes:

  • Tire damage
  • Structural damage
  • Accidents or collisions

Renter is liable for repair or replacement costs.

8. Insurance

Renter is responsible for verifying that their personal auto insurance covers trailer rentals. [Your Business Name] does not provide insurance coverage unless explicitly stated.

9. Breakdown & Emergencies

In the event of a breakdown or issue, renter must contact [Your Business Name] immediately. Unauthorized repairs may not be reimbursed.

10. Prohibited Use

The trailer may not be used for:

  • Off-road use (unless explicitly allowed)
  • Transporting hazardous materials
  • Transporting illegal goods

11. Cancellations & Refunds

All bookings are non-refundable except in cases of verified equipment defect at pickup or death impacting the reservation.

12. Indemnification

Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless [Your Business Name] from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from use of the trailer.

13. Agreement

By completing your booking and/or taking possession of the trailer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
